    2. Hey, no problems Mrs B. I wasn't counting the stitches properly :) I've almost finished the head now, and will be making the whole giraffe set as a gift for a friend. Thank you so much for the clear instructions and lovely pattern.

  3. Hi - I am a fairly new crochet-er, and just successfully completed an amigurumi minion. I want to make the giraffe lovey for a gift (thank you for the pattern!), but unsure on how to attach the giraffe to the granny square. Can you provide instructions (or pictures) on how to do that?

    1. Hello :) I'm sorry I do not have any pictures at this time to help you. I am in college and classes have started back so crocheting is on the back burner for now. I will do my best to explain it though. So to attach your head you will need to leave a long tail after finishing the head and use a yarn needle to sew it on. It will be very similar to sewing the eyes on your minion. I typically start by sewing around the first round of the granny square where the circle forms. I then do about 2-3 more passes around while gradually move further out from the circle so the head will stabilize and not be super floppy. I hope this helps but if not please do not hesitate to message me again.

  4. Thank you for providing this pattern! I've just made one for my friend's first grandchild born in January. I changed the main colour to pink and the coffee/brown colour I changed to grey. I also added flowers instead of the circles. It turned out great and I gave it to the family this week when they came to visit.

I've posted photos on my blog with a link back to this page. Hope you get a chance to have a look and let me know what you think.

  6. I am having problems on roll 11.
When you count 17 and put a marker
Do you go back and do two SCand then one.
Then when it continue the next 16 you just do two and one again.

  7. I'm truly enjoying the design and layout of your website. It's a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Exceptional work!

  9. Are the markers for placement of arms? I’m not sure why they are there, I never see them mentioned again.
