Quacking Cute Hook <(*)
We went to JoAnn's today for a another project I'm working on and I saw the polymer clay on sale and I just couldn't help myself. I have been wanting to try and make my own hook handle for weeks and I finally caved in and decided to give it a try. I must say it came out FABULOUS!! I of course made it something that would represent me. I made the handle pink (my favorite color) and I added a cute little duck on the end (love me some ducks!). I felt it needed more to make it perfect so I decided to put some yellow dots on the handle to help tie the pink and the ducky together. It was super simple and came out better than I ever expected. I can't wait to do it again!

This is adorable!! I'd love to try my hand at making hooks - Do you have to bake them to harden the clay?
ReplyDeleteYes mam :) I just bought the clay that was on sale at JoAnn's and baked it according to the directions. I waited to glaze it until I actually knew I was going to like how it felt in my hand so I could save money just in case. However I love them! I just have to do the rest of my hooks now. Have fun crafting!
